Due to the complex nature of the work at UCSF, many regulatory agencies are required to audit our facilities and activities. EH&S is often the primary liaison between the university and regulatory agencies. Regulatory inspections may include:
- Hazardous Materials – SF Dept. of Public Health
- Hazardous Waste – Cal EPA, SF Dept. of Public Health
- Medical Waste - SF Dept. of Public Health
- Radiation Safety – Cal Dept. of Public Health Radiologic Health Branch
